I hadn’t considered renting before I discovered
Chapel Valley. For six months my realtor and I had been searching
for a new condo
- I needed a building with an elevator, single floor living,
and a garage, but all we found were cramped, dreary cubicles
with little
light and not much appeal. As it turned out, Chapel Valley
offered most everything I was looking for: location, maintenance
free
living, open floor plans, natural sunlight and meticulously
landscaped grounds.
Chapel Valley really suits my active lifestyle- it offers plenty
of privacy, yet just outside my front door there is always a friendly
neighbor with whom
I can chat, share a story or an interest. There is no lack of activities either.
Since I have a pretty active social schedule, I love the convenience of being
within minutes of a great group of specialty restaurants, just ten minutes
to the Capitol Square and the new Overture Center for the Arts
and within 15 minutes
of old work colleagues and friends on Madison’s west and east sides.
What can I say; Chapel Valley is just a wonderful place to live. I love it
here!

My 91 year-old mother, Betty, has lived at Chapel Valley
for seven years. Chapel Valley is really a beautiful and supportive
apartment
community-we like to call it her “neighborhood”.
My mother is wheelchair bound -the lovely Chapel Valley grounds;
common
spaces and her light- filled, spacious apartment are all designed
for total accessibility- giving her absolute independence, which
she treasures. And when she wants to socialize, there is a host
of activities including coffees, discussion groups, arts excursions
or just a friendly chat with a neighbor. Having the Fitchburg
Senior Center, the park and all the new interesting restaurants
and the
convenience of major grocery and drugstores within minutes is
also a big plus.
My mother has acquired some wonderful collectibles
through the years that represent special memories for her and our
entire family.
When mom settled in her new home at Chapel Valley, she was so very
pleased that she was free to hang her art and build in displays
so she could be surrounded by her mementos- After all, that is
what makes a home truly a “home.”
